Introduction
The original Sally Montague website was approaching five years online and with only one major overhaul in that time, it was the perfect opportunity to develop a brand-new website, incorporating their new brand image.
Objectives
The new website had to live up to and exceed the expectations of the original. The objectives of this project was to:
- Create a user friendly, accessible design consistent with new branding and livery
- Allow management staff to edit pages and add new ones
- Provide a larger area for photographs
- Improve visitor return rate
- Improve search engine presence
Solution
We delivered a contemporary, user-friendly and engaging website with innovative new features such as the gallery, which is now one of the most popular areas of the site. Users can search for styles matching their criteria, such as age, hair colour and length. The new website provides more information about the products and services offered, all in a consistent style with simple navigation.
The results? On average, users spend over three minutes on the website and look at around 10 pages - a great improvement over the previous version. It's working hard for the business, too: the majority of visitors are from Derby and the surrounding areas, thanks to our Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). The site also attracts new clients to the salons on a regular basis.
